With approximately 40 years of experience in the commercial, industrial, office, and multi-family real estate sectors, he has built a significant career highlighted by his tenure at Consultants of Real Estate LLC (CORE) since May 2013. As a founding partner alongside Stan Okies and Doug Borrett, he has contributed to substantial sales, including $25 million in office properties, $43 million in industrial properties, $12 million in retail properties, and $10 million in multi-family properties. Prior to CORE, he served as an associate commercial/industrial broker at W.F. Karam Company from December 2010 to May 2013, where he focused on leasing and sales. His experience also includes roles at Grubb & Ellis/Best-White LLC from August 2000 to December 2010 as an associate retail/office broker, and earlier positions at The Brokerage, Mckinstry-Zacour and Associates, Recon Real Estate Consultants, El Paso Federal Savings and Loan, Pine Springs Mercantile, and Resort America Corporation, where he started as a project manager in 1979. His career is also marked by a notable client list that includes major corporations such as Sears Holding Corp., Banamex, Kmart, Citibank, and Verizon, among others.
Stan is a 3rd generation El Pasoan, having been involved in the real estate industry since 1984. His experience in the commercial field began with The Brokerage, and CBRE, El Paso for the first 7 years. An association with the Karam Company in El Paso for 15 years led to starting Consultants of Real Estate, LLC in 2013 with Doug Borrett and Dan Foster. Stan’s real estate experience has been varied, in virtually all aspects of commercial and investment real estate, including seller/landlord representation, buyer/tenant representation and leasing. His experience includes medical and commercial office, office/showroom condominium development, retail, multifamily, industrial, farm & industrial land, investment property offerings.
Doug's entire professional life has been in real estate, construction, or development of some kind. A native of El Paso, Doug has owned and operated several construction and real estate companies building and selling new homes and commercial structures. In addition to new construction, he has been active in the redevelopment of various properties, including residential subdivisions and retail, industrial, and office buildings. Doug has been active in his church, Saint Clements Anglican, on both the local, regional, and national levels and remains involved today. His favorite pastime would be travel, having traveled with the Church, business, the Boy Scouts, The Rotary Clubs, Habitat For Humanity, and with family. He remains actively involved in the commercial real estate business today.
